Is Mark Noble justifying his place in the team?
Yes our defence was 50 shades of shit yesterday, but our midfield just let Watford stream forward so much in that second half, we were lucky to get away with 4 goals.

Noble has started the season so poorly. Maybe he needs a game or two on the bench.

Despite him being clearly pissed off with getting subbed yesterday, I thought he could have applauded the crowd that have backed him over the years as he walked off.

Payet. Seriously. The only player I remember geeing the crowd up yesterday, maybe he would respond well to that?

Noble constantly looks like an 8 year old who's hamster has unexpectedly died

I like Bilic and he seems to have a loyalty to players he likes.
I wonder whether he can let what his eyes can see overcome sentimentality.
He will get the sack if he can't

Re: Is Mark Noble justifying his place in the team?
Noble is for us what Rooney is for Manure. An ageing captain.
For Bilic he is the natural leader and have big impact in the dressing room, not so much on the pitch I'm afraid.

Who would the next captain be, if Noble was rested more?

The skipper is slowing our play down more than ever before and for the first time since he broke into the team we now have better options.

Noble has and never will be good enough in the premier league. Local or not, we need a proper midfielder and when bilic has the bollocks to drop him, we might actually see an improvement

Played well yesterday the skipper. Terrible decision to take him off.

As for POOyate, well I don't know where to start.

Noble seems too pally with Bilic

Obviously the manager needs to have a captain on the pitch that heeds the advice of his manager but if that player is not warranting a place in the team the manager needs to act.

I dont ever see Bilic dropping Noble, therein lays a huge problem

He needs to detach himself and make the big calls

Re: Is Mark Noble justifying his place in the team?
Noble and Adrian need a spell on the bench, for their sakes if nothing else. They look shot to pieces.

I want to see Oxford, Fernandes and Fletcher involved much more but we may need a new manager to get that.

Re: Is Mark Noble justifying his place in the team?
Nobes has been a great servant but it is as plain as day his time is up - his legs are too heavy for this wider pitch. That's why the leggy Pedro is suited to the OS.

Re: Is Mark Noble justifying his place in the team?
At least our previous captain got goals. Noble is adding nothing to the team whatsoever at the moment, apart from countless back and side passes.

He is a centre half, but more than anything, I'm trying to get Vexed to pipe up, so fuck off, yeah?

Re: Is Mark Noble justifying his place in the team?
It's true the pitch size is too big for Noble.

I read it was Guardiola's decision not to sign Noble for Barca, Bayern and Man City because their pitch sizes are simply too big for him.

It's why he won't ever play for England at Wembley.

We should have bought a lot better in the transfer market in the summer because this pitch size malarkey.

Bilic can only manage a premiership club with the smallest pitch too.

You desperately want kouyate to be a centre half and he isn't.

He wasn't great yesterday, not even close, but he looked like Pirlo in comparison to Kouyate the centre back.
